As a certified appraiser, Mr. Conrad is a principal in American Business Appraisers, LLC a firm located in Phoenix Arizona that specializes in business valuation, machinery & equipment appraising and counseling support services.
Mr. Conrad performs valuation services for family-owned and closely held businesses, professional practices, limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships nationwide.
Mr. Conrad brings a unique skill level as an appraiser in analyzing business issues for developing an opinion of value for a business or business assets. Mr. Conrad is qualified by virtue of extensive training, practical skills and a broad variety of business experiences.
Before forming American Business Appraisers, LLC he founded and successfully operated a manufacturing business with operations in two states, along with being a limited partner in several business ventures.
Professional Designations and Affiliations
The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) awards the prestigious designation of Certified Business Appraiser "CBA" to those candidates who have completed vigorous educational and testing requirements, followed by a highly critical peer demonstration report review process. Of the over 3,000 members of IBA, less then 600 individuals have achieved the level of proficiency to be awarded the "CBA" designation.
The Institute of Certified Business Counselors (ICBC), Master Certified Business Counselors "MCBC", is bestowed on an individual who has met not only stringent experience requirements, but has also invested both time and effort in pursuing and successfully completing the re-certification requirements established by the Institute.
The NEBB Institute, awards the Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser "CMEA", designation after completing course study and successfully passing a written exam, and submitting a demonstration report illustrating the proper knowledge in one machinery and equipment report.
Committee Services
Mr. Conrad serves on the Qualifications Review Committee for The Institute of Business Appraisers. As a member of this committee he serves as a demonstration report reviewer were he critiques valuation reports submitted by candidates for peer review in a candidate's effort for accreditation from this organization. Mr. Conrad is an instructor for The Institute of Business Appraisers.
Mr. Conrad is a Past President of The Institute of Certified Business Counselors and current serves as a National Board Member for this organization.
Mr. Conrad is Managing Member for the American Business Appraisers National Network. The American Business Appraisers National Network is a consortium of independent business appraisal firms that cooperate on a; personal and professional level which includes practice management and technical matters. American Business Appraisers, LLC is the Arizona affiliate firm.
