The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) is the oldest professional society devoted solely to the appraisal of closely-held businesses. Established in 1978, the Institute is a pioneer in business appraisal education and professional accreditation.
The Institute of Certified Business Counselors is a professional association that is devoted to enhancing the knowledge and professionalism of business advisors. Service, integrity and fair play are the basic fundamentals of I-CBC members who are known for their candor in sharing knowledge and techniques. Members providing advisory services in many different disciplines are united by a focus on the continuation of businesses through improved operations, profits or a change of ownership. The different disciplines that are represented by the membership include investment bankers, estate planners, accountants, attorneys, appraisers, business brokers, mergers and acquisition experts, and business consulting specialties associated with business transactions and effective management.
The Arizona Business Brokers Association is the largest network of professional business brokers serving Arizona. It is the only business opportunities database available to the local broker community.
The Central Arizona Estate Planning Council was established in the 1960s for the benefit of the diverse professionals involved in the estate planning process. Their focus is to gain a broader perspective of pertinent issues and ideas in order to better shape and protect our client's financial estates. They place particular emphasis on the estate planning team-reviewing appropriate configurations, refining cooperative processes, and regularly hosting top national strategists and practitioners. Council members further benefit from reciprocal associations with other members, who are quick to respond to queries from fellow Council Professionals.
